Pissed on and beaten, fine. But NO DESSERT CART!!?!

Crooks and Liars has increasingly become the one-stop site for mind-boggling examples of how low the bar has been set by the American press (They get 37,000 visitors a day. I get two dozen). And how the neo-fascist GOP continues to effortlessly limbo beneath it.

Exhibit A: Sure, we deny due process, but have you tried the "freedom" chicken?

The post in its entirety:

"So the point is that the inmates in Guantánamo have never eaten
better, they've never been treated better and they've never been
more comfortable in their lives."

You have to see this to believe it.

It's worth noting that Duncan Hunter is one of the few Repubs that thinks we should close Gitmo. Let's all thoughtfully stroke our chins as we wonder why he felt he had to couple his "respectful disagreement" with a gravy smothered photo-op defending our administration. Hmmmm.....
