Tom Noe indicted in Ohio

The man who was given a sweetheart deal to manage a fund for Ohio's workers compensation investment program was indicted today for his magical role in making the taxpayer dollars disappear.

Noe is indicted in Lucas County Common Pleas Court on numerous counts of theft, money laundering, forgery and tampering with evidence, as well as engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, for his handling of the $50 million coin investment.

Those Bush Pioneers (those who raised $100,000 for Bush's election campaign) are truly a rare breed. Kinda like snake oil salesmen and faith healers.

The link is to a timeline of events in Ohio's "Coingate" scandal, which still isn't getting any national attention.

UPDATE: OD1 sent me a link to a much better story on the Noe indictments. 53 charges, with a sentence of up to 175 years.
