Action Alert: Stand against Alito

People for the American Way has posted an online petition that is part of a progressive effort to collect one million signatures to present to the Senate prior to his confirmation hearings.

PFAW is aiming for 100,000 signatures, and they're almost halfway to the goal. Sign up, pass it on, and help protect the courts from becoming just one more arm of the fundamentalist right.

Keep in mind how well it worked in the effort to save Public Broadcasting from being put on the chopping block by the GOP. These things make a difference.
