Pundits who lie, newsmen who spin

I'm going to revisit an issue I covered a couple of days ago, because the Daily Howler is doing the same, and adding some noteworthy commentary of their own. The original article cited five prominent right-wing pundits who helped the president lie his way into war-- and continue to defend it.

The Howler points out six journalists who don't deserve their stripes, either. Then goes on to point out a shameful example of news-pimping on Hardball last night-- they're getting a second mention this week, too. As the Howler observes, it's pretty much a wonder that the public is behind Cindy Sheehan. Much of the mainstream media is portraying her as a foam-mouthed radical puppet of closet Stalinists. Sad.
