Conservative pedophilia? Blame liberals!
Astounding. Apparently unaware of the many cases of red-state fundamentalists molesting kids-- or worse, in the case of the Kansas serial killer known as "BTK" for his modus operandi of bind, torture, kill-- Pennsylvania senator Rick "Spreading" Santorum declared that the culprit is actually Massachusetts liberalism.
I guess we were also responsible for Cardinal Law shuffling pedophiles around to new posts-- poor guy was just befuddled by liberal sin, and definitely not taking orders from his superiors.
''When the culture is sick, every element in it becomes infected," Santorum wrote recently. "While it is no excuse for this scandal, it is no surprise that Boston, a seat of academic, political, and cultural liberalism in America, lies at the center of the storm."
If we're lucky, these Republican luminaries will finally bring down the corrupt reign of their party through their commitment to politicizing terrorist attacks, child molestation, and corporate crime.
