Nailing the coffin lid on privatization

This is from yesterday, and it's been widely covered, but it deserves a mention. E J Dionne's piece on GOP efforts to dismantle Social Security is crammed with facts, and very well-written. I love the opener, too:

"There is a name for those who continue to sit at a gambling table even after they learn that the game is fixed. They are called fools."

Good stuff, and highly recommended.
