Jeffords drops a bombshell.

This is a genuine shocker from The Left Coaster. Jim Jeffords has gone on the record as saying the Iraq war was about oil, that we'll go to war with Iran for the same reason, and that it's all being done to get a third Bush into the White House.

All I'm going to say on this is that the timing is less than felicitous. Right-wing pundits pretty much had their backs to the wall thanks to their loony three-ring circus-- Schiavo, DeLay, and privatization.

Now they get to go back on the offensive with a vengeance. But with a public that's growing ever-more cynical over the war, maybe it won't pay the dividends it might've when it was considered treason to suggest that the prez might not be infallible...
