Iraqis imitate Americans. Americans not happy.

Now that the results from the Iraqi election are filtering in, it looks like the neocons were wrong and everyone else was right. Again. Their freedom might have been "on the march," but they marched to the same drummer as many red staters-- namely, the election of a fundamentalist government. Only Republicans won't be happy with these fundamentalists. 'Cuz they're.. you know, different.

We probably won't be hearing Bush take credit for "planting the flag of freedom" in the Middle East anymore. It looks more and more like he's cementing the populace behind radical Islam-- and against democracy. Congratulations, you horse's ass.
