Dubya meets war critics-- for about 42 seconds each

It's always nice to take another trip to the Stalinist well with the White House. Frown over bad poll numbers. Herd critics into room. Take photos with grins all around. Claim bipartisanship. Totally phony, completely transparent and still working.

White House spokesmonkey Scott McClellan puts it this way: "The president has sat down with administration officials from previous administrations, some who did not agree with the decisions, some who do not agree with everything we’re doing in terms of moving forward on that strategy, and listened to their ideas. We welcome those ideas. That’s honest critics."

They would've spent more time sitting during a round of musical chairs. The total time of the "meeting" was less than ten minutes.
