True confessions of a blogger in wuv.

Actually, it might just be 'lurv,' but that's okay, too. On to the story. If you're around my age, and attracted to the womenfolk, you might remember the lovely blonde from Too Close to Comfort. The 'ditzy, hot one,' naturally. To be honest, my favorite TV stars of pre-adolescence were (in order) 1) the twins from 'Double Trouble' (I still can't decide between the smart, classy one and the wild, artsy one), 2) Nicole Eggert from Charles in Charge (who's just about my age), and maybe Valerie Bertinelli, although I probably just saw her in re-runs. Oh, and then there was some dark-haired gal on Battlestar Galactica. Smokin' hot, but probably old enough to be an aunt.

Now I run across this-- Too Close for Comfort's Lydia Cornell is tossing her hat into the progressive blogosphere ring (she needs an editor, but I'm all over that). She couldn't be lovelier, and I've always liked older women, too. Maybe a little square for me, but we can work with that. Since I haven't heard from that Bridget Jones actress after offering right here on the blog to go out with her, I'm writing her off. Lydia Cornell is the gal for me now. Unless Nicole Eggert wants to abandon that whole tawdry Hollywood lifestyle-- with its pretty boys and implants-- and cast her lot in with a would-be East coast liberal elitist who just happens to be a broke PhD student at the moment. But that'll change.

Oh, and Lydia? You don't have to worry about the hair coloring when you're my sweet thang. I like brunettes.

Coming up tomorrow: posts that don't make me sound like a total loser! Now if you'll excuse me, my 13th level wizard needs to deal with a whole pack of trolls on the upper levels of Astaroth's Tower.
