....before righties actually blamed Bill Clinton for this week's disaster, that is. Michelle Malkin decides that four years and eight months of national dominance isn't quite enough time for the GOP or the Bush administration to actually be responsible for anything that happens in this country.
It's worth noting, too, that Democrats not from Louisiana have not always been enthusiastic supporters of New Orleans' anti-flood efforts. The Clinton Administration held up a major New Orleans levee construction project in 1995, according to a June 23, 1995, article in the Times-Picayune.
That's right-- while progressives allegedly blame this administration for an act of nature, prominent righties have been digging frantically through piles of ten year-old documents to find a way to pin it on their perpetual whipping boy.
