The UN must be destroyed!

If you've been following the admin's attempts to put UN-hating reactionary John Bolton in the UN, you might have heard last week that more than fifty US diplomats signed a letter to the White House asking that the nomination be withdrawn for its regrettably un-diplomatic tone (not to mention the un-diplomatic nominee). That tactic has been ignored before, when groups like diplomats, military leaders, and scientists have signed on to letters requesting a rethinking of various policies.

It won't work now, of course, but the American Prospect has a story on Bolton's impending confirmation hearing that's well worth a read.
