Al Gore stopped by Saturday Night Live to do the opening sketch, and it made for some good comedy-- bittersweet, but funny.



There are a couple of solid one-liners here. I enjoyed the bit about dictatorial baseball commissioner George W. Bush's committment to ending steroid use, but I think my favorite was the grim reality that "Americans tourists can't even go to Europe anymore without getting hugged."
