Lest we forget....

A Kos contributor reminds us that we can't forget the names Abramoff and DeLay, whose webs of corruption continue to unravel....

From the original articles:

(WaPo) Federal prosecutors are seeking bank fraud charges against lobbyist Jack Abramoff, a key figure in investigations involving House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, The Associated Press learned Thursday.
The charges stem from the 2000 purchase by Abramoff and his partners of SunCruz Casinos and the alleged use of a fake wire transfer to defraud two lenders out of some $60 million to finance the deal, according to a federal law enforcement official.

(AP) A federal audit of a political fundraising committee founded by House Majority Leader Tom DeLay found that it failed to report more than $300,000 in debts owed to vendors and incorrectly paid for some committee activities with money from another DeLay-connected political committee.
The Federal Election Commission's report didn't indicate whether it would pursue enforcement action against Americans for a Republican Majority Political Action Committee.

Isn't it grand to see things falling apart for all of these crooks at once-- with a whole three years to go in this administration? Abramoff, DeLay, Libby, Rove, Ohio Republicans, et al.

And with Cindy Sheehan quickly becoming a symbol for every American who's sick of being told that things are just peachy in Iraq-- as the insurgency grows ever stronger-- Bush is coming under the spotlight, too. In spite of his five-week vacation.
