Back to Business with Cindy Sheehan

I'll start off with an easy one. The Cindy Sheehan story unfolded over the course of the weekend, with her protest 3 miles down the road from the Bush compound garnering increasing attention. Apparently people are showing up daily to join her protest and expand the 'tent city.' She's being interviewed by national news shows. She's being attacked by the rightie blogs as a (gasp!) "flip-flopper," which probably won't have the same resonance when used against a war mom....

Her goal is simple-- confront the president. The president's goal is just as clear-cut-- wait her out. Although Fearless Leader has sent a few henchmen to talk to her, she's not budging. The latest word on the blogs is that she'll be removed on Thursday as a "national security threat." Which is the same day that W will be holding a big name fundraiser, complete with an appearance by Condi "Historical Document" Rice.
