Another FEMA failure
It's just plain hard to believe at this point. Like Catch 22, Dr. Strangelove and MASH all rolled up into one tragic reality.
A South Carolina health official said his colleagues scrambled Tuesday when FEMA gave only a half-hour notice to prepare for the arrival of a plane carrying as many as 180 evacuees to Charleston.
But the plane, instead, landed in Charleston, West Virginia, 400 miles away.
It was not known whether arrangements have been made to care for the evacuees or transport them to the correct destination.

How did everything get so impossibly fucked up in this country? Four years we've been hearing nothing but homeland security and preparedness. Now, the first time the multi-billion dollar departments charged with protecting us are put to the test, they screw up every last thing they try to do. Then tell us not to play the "blame game."
